Found this small little drain by the side of the road somewhere in Lim Chu Kang. Where, I will not say. Went there once during one of my night exploration trips with Winston, who by the way will be leaving Singapore for a few years soon, but the conditions were so dark and wet that we did not notice it.
What's so special about this particular ditch?

Well the sign says it all:
For those that are hard of sight, no need for the eye strain, this is what the sign say:
"AREN'T THEY BEAUTIFUL?
PLEASE DO NOT PLUCK THE
LOTUS FLOWERS.
You can't find these growing
wild anywhere in our country.
PLEASE DO NOT LITTER.
YOUR CO-OPERATION IS MUCH APPRECIATED.

As you can see, the whole ditch is filled with them, right up to the end which is even beyond this pic! It's surreal when viewed for the first time on site.
Some pics of the flowers! (taken while still in formal wear and trying hard not to accidentally slide into the ditch due to frictionless Pierre Cardin Leather shoes!):

Looks exactly the same as the lotus flowers I bought when going to pray at the ever famous Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple in Bugis.
Thank god for HP cameras!
& to whoever that initiated this little green and pink ditch!
