Found that there is still some benefits in swinging around my Katana. Can exercise my pathetically weak wrist. Anyway it's the only weapon I can train wif rite now without excessive movements.
Hopefully I will have an opportunity to learn Iaido someday.....n not when i'm too old mind u......

Yay! Finally found a chalet for the wushu ppl!! Was panicking on friday when Wilson suddenly phoned me that the supposedly confirmed chalet booking at Changi was void. Turns out that the ppl at Aloha resorts din bother to update their chalet vacancies on their webpage filling me wif lots of WONDERFUL false hope......
Fortunately was able to find fresh hope in the form of costa sands by surfing at YIH (thanx Lei!). Rushed down to Lot1 in that lousy weather n booked the chalet without a second thought....dun wanna miss another opportunity!

Yesterday went to bugis-marina area yet again. Dunno when will i be sick of that area......Been there so frequent, even more so than NUH, imagine that!
Saturday truly is the start of holidays for all three pri, sec, n tertiary levels. Met tons of ppl while shopping around.......Ah Peng, Colin Soh, Baoyi (poly bros), Junwei(pri sch fren), Maisie(comm service fren), whale and Enping(wushu seniors). Even the guy who served us at Baker's Inn was my campmate!

Speaking of Maisie, aka cactus as she was more commonly known to us back in the Thye Hua Kwan Moral Home days, really haven seen this associate for quite a long time. Around 3 yrs. Well nothing much about her changed. Can easily recognise her even though she no longer wears those funny 'ringed' accessories on her arms which everyone associates her wif! Think the only change is her dressing style. From last time's 'gina lian' to today's 'executive lian' Heh..... Well, lian or not, this demure 'chio bu' did provide the eye candy for us while we were doing our community work! haha!

Hmm... gonna blog down those fun n carefree days at macpherson. But that will be in another entry......

One word of advice for u ppl out there: Dun ever become as slack as wat i am rite now!!!!

REALLY lost the drive to do anything nowadays........even more surprising I even turned down my fren to go have a workout! That's a first!
Mood also slowly reaching the pits. Something which I'm trying to prevent. But even trips to my fav Genki sushi or gym workout(which can never replace wushu or a relaxing jog in the neighbourhood)things never improve one bit........

Think I should shut my trap for time being too.....
kenna 2 big miscomm within a single week.....
terrible........
maybe it's time I go run into a wall or something like that.........might wake me up a little..........

HAHAHAHA!!! Finally!!
Finished downloaded two more movies namely Rashomon n Yojimbo from Kazaa......
Took me a good two weeks due to the non-existent connection.....
Think I'm turning into a Aikira Kurosawa fan liao!

Wah piangz.......whole body from head to toe still aching from yesterday....good. Reminds me that I'm still alive.
Must have overworked myself in my little "operation: regeneration"..heh..
After a string of workout at KE, going to gym and even archery....
Still got wushu tomorrow!!! But I can only manage some minor movements only. Gonna skip gym for tomorrow too, dun wanna end up like last time where I really overworked my muscles n my arms locked up for a few days! HA....wat a situation!

speaking of archery.....dunno why it took me so long just to pick it up....after all, I have very convenient access to place n equipment through my bro since about 4 yrs ago. Guess I was too busy learning other stuff(besides my schoolwork!).

Went to Changi for a reconnissance trip to see which of the four leftover chalet that is best to book for our annual wushu chalet trip. Even saw a group of commandos having road march in full-battle-order n all......immediately reminded me of whale n wat he must have looked like......
It wasn't that hard making choice for the chalet......out of the four only two have redeeming features for me to have a second glance. The lousier two really makes u think that ur own HDB flat more suitable place for gathering n sleepover!! Esp the block that was built in 1934!! wah liew!!!
Then it came the tough choice between the final two......one has a much better chalet block while the other one has a better location.......
wateva...its the ppl that makes the place com alive! Hopefully the attendance will not be pathetically small!!!

Haiz......

Looking forward to tomorrow where i got a whole full day of programs lined up.......

Now that's more like it!! ;)

Really slacking too much. Think this is the most ~nua~ period of time since all the way in primary school days. Worse is that its getting to me somehow.....wake up everyday feelling damn tired n seriously lacking of drive...totally not like me at all!!!!! :(
How serious is this? Well I'm actually developing blubber (sorry whale)on my belly. hah n to think I'm eating ice-cream as I'm blogging this.......
Think this lethargy is obviously due to my immobility.....being unable to practise wushu or even go for a simple jog in the neighbourhood really pulls my spirit down...being cooped up at home for the past month didn't help the situation much. These are two of the things I do to keep me active n feel alive....certainly dun understand why ppl like my bro can stay at home the whole day.
My mind sure go wondering around n i will end up wasting time brooding on some stuff which will bring my emotions on a rollercoaster ride(but mostly its a ride "downwards").
At least yesterday finally got my mp3 player (plus my belt, my camera n even my Ninjado gi !)back from wilson so got something to fiddle around wif for a while.
Finally saw the final instalment of the matrix.......not really up expectations but at least it made up with really cool effects.......the ending is as vague as ever n its up to ur own interpretation.

Hmmm...... this afternoon both my grandmothers from my mum n dad's side was in the house. Really made me realise the generation gap is getting bigger....think Enping is the only "senior citizen" I can hold a conversation wif these days.

Hope this posting wun get swallowed whole again......
Lost two postings needlessly liao. argh..

Finally able to walk walk around n even go out on my own. Inconvenient it may be to climb up and down stairs, or even just to get up a bus, its all worth it! Started to get a little nutty liao after being couped up at home for such a long period of time. Also getting abit brain dead....just can't come up wif any ideas for my ECO proposal n the deadline is dangerously close liao (Wil, if u r reading this, dun worry, i'll get it done somehow...as always! ;p)

One thing I notice these two days while I was outside wondering around......every single passer-by would somehow immediately take a second lower glance whenever they look at me. Dun think I was limping that bad? Or is the Knee Ranger really that menacing? Somehow I dun really like it....feels like i'm a walking(or limping) freakshow.

Been to Pasta Fresca along pasir panjang rd(fong seng) this afternoon wif Peilei, Mongwei, n whale to have........pasta.....duh......
The place where the pasta reastaurant is located sure brings back plenty of memories.....cos it used to be where my father's tyre shop is located from all the way when I was in sec 4 till this yr april when the landlord decided he prefered pasta. Even wif the place now neatly tiled up, n nice ambience, I still can easily picture back when the place was strewn wif tyres n batteries.......my father working by the roadside.....me washing my bike at the pavement where the bus stop was....or sitting at the table enjoying the view of chio bu from NUS waiting for bus through a mirror in the shop so I wun tio spot and get to keep my anonymity. heh..just too many things to mention in a single blog post.

So many memories from the 6-7 yrs there. Needless to say, some sentimental attachment of the place is expected. These are the stuff memories......those that makes u smile n weep at the same time.

Ok....enuf dreamy flashbacks for tonight. Almost wan to continue about the arcade centre in bukit panjang. Another joint with no lack of memorable moments. Must be this 'Michael Learns to Rock' CD (bought all the way back when I'm only in sec 2) I'm listerning to while blogging psychoed me into writing all this....

Proves that music does intoxicate the soul.....

Now I know why a sparrow will die in captivity.......haiz.
Hmmm.....saw yesterday's night Channel 8 news. Quite an entertaining half hour. Here are a couple of crappy ones:

Saw three Singaporean dressed up as Agent Smith(but totally lacking the seh) to attend the premiere of matrix revolutions really kind of reminded me of the first week opening of Star Wars epidsode one. Ppl dressed up as Jedi knights adn even painted their faces like Darth Maul...Even clashed (toy) lightsabers inside the cinemas after the show was over! Very entertaining to watch but picture myself ever doing it just to go see a movie!

Then there's this news about mexicans catching rats for meals....wat's newsy about that? HY would have gladly done that anyway.... think i'm gonna get scratched up for posting this... :p

Another was showing two opposition taiwan politicians having a fighting in public followed by accusing the other of violence. Really looked like little bois trying to push the blame when mommy found them fighting.....really complement the other news on channel 5 I was told about ppl in Taiwan going into babysitting....rite choice of career manz....

Since I'm in the house these days.... might as well......

Tonight's feature: Me n the kitchen window....

~*Takes a deep whif of the cool night air*~

Always enjoyed looking out my kitchen window late at night. Could be hereditary, since my dad also have the same habit. Few things can compare to a breath of fresh cool air that comes wif the calm of the night. Esp when my apartment is not really that well ventilated wif all the windows sealed like a maximum security prison.
Part of the enjoyment comes from the fact that my neighbourhood ppl r early kooners.....By 1am, almost all the lights from opposite appartments are off. The only illumination being a few street lamps n the moon, when juxtaposed against a cloudless sky, will give a surreal n somewhat eerie atmosphere when complemented wif the haze from Megawati's backyard.
All this darkness n cool air really sits well wif the nocturnal calm which is a stark contrast of wat the road directly below is like during the day. Traffic jams, jams n more jams. Maybe its this Jekyl/Hyde difference that allows one to notice the serenity that night brings.
No, I do not engage in any soul searching or contemplate any issues while I enjoy this calmness. .... I just let my mind be free.....free to wander....its a great way to unload after a long day.

Yeah come to think of it, I didn't get this habit from dad....his trip to the kitchen window is not to enjoy the night air.......its to smoke without being caught by my mom!(penalty: constant nagging throughout the night n maybe next day too!)

Whoa finally finished my first review! Ok Baby, u can stop stamping n start breathing now! Hope u all enjoyed it even though it's a rushed effort! Gan ye che till 3 am yesterday night! Wah lau ! Still got another corny '70s film coming up!!! Watch for it!Argghhh!

Speaking of movies....hope I can start to walk soon! Missed plenty of shows already like Ong Bak, Kill Bill, 15............wat's worse: The Matrix: Revolutions is showing in a week!! Everyday can see the countdown to the premiere on TV advertisement. It's just like inpending doom!!! Hope can see on the first week of the premiere cos that's when the cinema is packed wif anticipating fans.....Guess part of the pleasure of watching it on the big screen comes from the hyped up atmosphere surrounding u!
