Whoa, today's trip to Jon's place is really worth the journey to Katong. Din get to stay long but it's enuf of an eye opener! He thought me some basic movements/uses of the nunchuckus n also did a kata using single n double ncs. Both were very creative, smooth n fast, stuff that u thought u can only see on TV!! (Just think Bruce Lee!!) Too bad we only have time for weapons.....really want to learn some fighting tactics from him!!!!

In turn, this John taught that Jon some basics of jiu jie bian(wish boi was there!). Also got to handle a somewhat more heavy(understatement) jiu jie bian he borrowed from his fren. Wah, the diameter of each solid metal joint was nearly that of a twenty cent coin!!! Its the first time I felt apprehensive just holding onto a weapon! Played wif it clumbsily due to fear of the bian going the wrong way.....
Well too bad I ain't got the finance for my original plan of studying in UK, this fella is definite on my list to visit if I'm ever there.
Yeah, he's also mailing me a pair of nunchucks soon...yea.....
