been really happy these few days. Been keeping my schedule busy wif all the stuff I wanted or need to do.
Ok here's a re-cap of last week to this....
last wed 17th: went blood donating but was turned away cos of my operation on my knee(had to be three months n above from date of operation)

thurs 18th: Went back camp...finished signing all my clearance forms n did the medical FFI. Hah. The medics were sooo lazy.....we din even have to go through the tests. All we had to do was to throw the forms to them....suit me fine. Its all a bunch of wayang routine test anyway--->plain waste of time! Also watched LOTR3. But it din wow me that much...abit numbed by all the reviews n hypes liao....sure it was good but nothing groundbreaking.

Fri 19th: Colin's birthday. But din meet up as is the case for most if not all ppl wif steadies....But I was shopping in JB wif Keven, Kin Fai, one of their campmates n Weiling (the blur one)anyway. Did more eating than shopping which is the norm for this group. Rushed to the wushu election after coming back from JB. The turnout of the junior was poor but it's not expected. At least most of the elected newbies came. Can see the 6th comm's faces of 'enthusiasm' n 'anticipation' at "passing the baton".
Resisted Then urge to meet up wif Michael Boo, Gary n Xueli after the election even though it's been like 2 yrs never go out n siao together liao, cos got to wake up early next morning.....

Sat 20th: Turned out for the guided trip for Sungei Khatib Bongsu by Nature Society. Reached the Yishun dam at 730 in the morning. Kaoz... that is one place which i usually go at night.....first time there in the morning n so early somemore! But it was worth getting up for. the air was damn fresh n the scenery breathtaking...totally different .......weather was super good(constant breeze n just sufficient sunlight) considering it's been pouring non stop for a fewdays liao. Was the first to arrive at the dam. Seebeh scared I cannot recognise the NSS ppl or they fly kite(or i go to wrong meeting place) but worries unfounded.....Dr Ho Hua Chew has the typical seh of a nature guide n instantly recognisable the moment he arrived in his Subaru Forrester. About 20 ppl turned up for the trip. Mostly middle age(rich) uncle n aunties that are bird lovers. Armed wif those super binoculars n tripoded telescopes n even wif tons of guide book on birds!!!
Feels more like I'm stuck wif a bunch of ornithologists n one of their bird observing trips! But at least they were very frenly n shared their equipment n knowledge wif us. Saw lots of species of birds, migratory n local, never seen before. Not to mention a 2-3 metre long monitor lizard! There was also these two uncles representing Yamaha(one is a jap) n sponsoring NSS who gave us all free t-shirts...cool! Could have easily got to know and acquire a few contacts for personal n ECO use but not in the mood as I treat this as a totally leisure trip...
Met up wif my ninjado junior Geraldene (the Loud One!)to buy the stepdown gift for Peixing. Ended up joining her secondary sch frens(all half a decade younger than me) for lunch at far east plaza. Not to mention joining in the celebration of Dawn's birthday.....Ran in the rain, squeezed through the crowd in orchard, n did a spot of christmas shopping.....Had lots of fun wif the kiddos, did alot of siao things as though i'm back in poly first yr......that was a nice n long birthday kiss to Dawn, Ger!

To be cont......
