Recap on the weekends:
Sat: damn busy a day doing wat I'm most renown for. Driving. Or more specifically, moving stuff around for Miz Chan n her little boys n girls at NP FSV. N wat alot of "stuffs"! Filled the whole of my lorry's cab! From all sorts of lighting equipment, to all sorts of stands, to sound equipment, camera, dolly tracks film rolls and got-knows-wats-in-those-1-ton-boxes. Left the house at 7 in the morning n transported the filming equipment from bus stops to private housings to community hospitals. Could use such a workout every week but definitely not the group's attitude....Really feel sad for Miz Chan to have to work wif such a bunch of childish jerks.
Got to work some part time job wif Zhong Rong at woodlands that night. Of all the neighbourhood, it's got to be woodlands, the only place i can get lost(which I did). Once again, the ugly side of S'poreans got to rear it's head again when it's time to give out free lanterns n mooncake. It's still nowhere as horrible as the crowd at Exxonmobil's family day last week but it's bad enuf. I even had to escot the VIP for the night(some assoc Prof from woodlands GRC) who had to make a detour through the stage(which he almost fell from) bcos of the rowdy crowd. At least the kids who played the games on stage are damn cute. Well at $10 an hour, I can't complain too much can I? Esp when there's an ah lian Chang Er for me to disturb too! hah!
Sun: Got chio by Jiaming to go down Kuen for a practise session. Originally suppose to have a whole bunch of National team members down but somehow they make it. Got to Kuen too early n ended up watching Stephen Chow's God of cookery wif Jiaming n his elder bro Jiaqi. Had quite an nice ji ben gong training wif their resident coach Zhang Jian Feng. Yeah without a doubt he was damn good. n that was an understatement. Just one xunfeng tui of his made me wonder what Beijing does to the wushu trainees since young. Even our 'giraffe' Yi Yong can't even hold a candle to him in terms of tiaoyue. Well can't describe too much here. Some things have to be seen to be believed. He does quite a decent job at coaching too. Can feel slight improvement under his directions. Maybe it's the carpet. But then again, this is the FIRST time I was under proper instructions from a COACH! Feel damn paiseh wif Jiaming, Yi Yong n even two uncles doing xunfeng 360, 720. Even the Ang Moh auntie who competed in this yr's nationals was there too. It appears that Yi Yong has left Navy Divers Unit n sign on RSAF pilot(diff from Baby's role). But then again, he has always been Singapore wushu's Air force anyway.
Wah legs n shin bones still hurting even as I'm typing this. Nice.
Second round at woodlands Mid autuum event. Different location, same chaos. What S'poreans will do for free stuff. And those free stuff were just paper lanterns n mooncakes the size of golfballs? Sick.
